Privacy
Session Personal is run by Session (Jade Matthew), London. This is what we keep, why, and who else touches it. If anything here is unclear, email jade@sessioncare.co.uk.
We will not sell your data
Not to advertisers, not to anyone. We don't use your answers or journal for advertising.
What we keep
- Your name, email and password. Passwords are stored by our database provider in hashed form; we never see them.
- What you put into Session Personal: your answers to the twenty questions, journal entries, check ins, reflections, goals, diary entries and your plan. We keep these so they follow you between devices and so Mara can build your practice from them.
- Your subscription status from Stripe. Stripe handles your card; we never see or store card numbers.
Camera and microphone
The camera check in runs in your browser. Nothing is recorded or uploaded. Mara receives the words you said and three numbers (pace, pauses, stillness), then they are gone. Turning speech into words is done by your browser, which may use its maker's speech service (for example Google in Chrome or Apple in Safari).
Who processes it for us
- Supabase: our database and sign in.
- Render: our hosting, in Frankfurt.
- Stripe: payments.
- Anthropic: when Mara replies, what you have written and the context needed for that reply is sent to Anthropic's Claude service to write it.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and everything in it. Email jade@sessioncare.co.uk and we will do it within 30 days. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Cookies
We don't use advertising or tracking cookies. Your browser stores your sign in and a copy of your progress so the app loads quickly.
